Dr Lisa Sacchetti
Veterinarian
Dr Lisa has been with Hennie Alberts Vet since January 2014. She has a special interest in small animal surgery, especially soft tissue and orthopaedic. She is also passionate about osteo-arthritis pain support and management.
She has two horses and four dogs: Vlenters, a cross Corgi, named as such as he was rescued with two broken back legs while Dr Lisa was still a student at Onderstepoort. Vader a crossbreed was first thought to be a small breed but ended up being a 25kg dog. Eddie is a very boisterous Staffie that she hand reared from a few days old. Rosie came in as an emaciated stray and tugged on Lisa’s heartstrings. She is now living her best life with the rest of the pack.
Monty is a cat Dr Lisa adopted from the first clinic she worked at. He had a broken leg, which was repaired and then the owners never came to fetch him. He is a real character who is very vocal, so it’s no surprise he wormed his way into her heart.
Dr Lisa also has two chinchillas: Gonzo and Frankie. Chinchillas may look like awesome little pets but they are a lot of hard work.
Her hobbies include horse riding and painting.

If your resident male black cat is Hennie, name the little female tabby Victoria, like the queen she is.
