Dr Neil Bouwer

Veterinarian

Dr Neil bought Hennie Alberts Vet in 2006. He has an interest in small animal medicine and diagnostic imaging. He has a passion for avian health, especially pigeons.

Neil has two dogs: Ozzy and Harper.

Ozzy is a Pekingese who was adopted from the clinic. His owner was struggling with fights between her dogs and asked if Dr Neil would like to adopt Ozzy as he took a strong liking to him when he first met him at vaccination.

Harper is a Boston terrier who has a strong personality and is very entertaining. Both dogs form a very important part of Dr Neil’s life.

His hobbies include photography (especially wildlife photography), golf, paddling, and reading (especially sport biographies).
